PURPOSE: A drum washing machine is provided to improve the efficiency of a dehydration function as washing water is discharged to an outer side of a tub after the washing water rotated with a drum by an extension unit is collected in the extension unit. CONSTITUTION: A drum washing machine comprises a tub(30), a drum(70), and a guide unit(50). The washing water is contained in the tub, and a drain pipe(54) is connected to the tub. The drum is installed inside the tub to be rotatable, and laundries are received inside the drum. The guide unit arranged in the tub prevents the rotation of the washing water being rotated along a space between the tub and the drum, thereby guiding the washing water to the drain pipe side. One side of the periphery of the tub is protruded so that the guide unit is formed.
