PURPOSE: A forgery detection system of a file and a method thereof are provided to exclude a file, which is changed by normal system management, from a forgery detection object, thereby effectively preventing the increase of the unnecessary object of the forgery detection. CONSTITUTION: A file uploading module(302) stores an uploading object file in an object server by receiving the uploading object file from a client file uploading device. The file uploading module records the information of the uploading object file. A forgery detection module(304) senses a file which is changed in the object server. When the file is not changed by the file uploading module, the forgery detection module detects the forgery of the changed file. The forgery detection module compares the information of the uploading object file with the information of the changed file.
