<p>The invention relates to a motor vehicle body including a center pillar (3), and a central roll bar (7) connected to a head (5) of the center pillar (3), said roll bar (7) having a grooved mid-section (8) extending up to one end portion (10) of the roll bar (7), said mid-section (8) being bordered by two flanges (12), wherein in said body: the head (5) has an area (13) for receiving the end portion (10) of the roll bar (7), said receiving area (13) including a hollow recess (14) leading from an inner side and bordered by raised side sections (17); and the roll bar (7) is attached directly onto the head (5), wherein the end portion (10) of the roll bar (7) is built into the receiving area (13), the mid-section (8) being nested in the hollow recess (14) and the flanges (12) bearing against the side sections (17).</p> |
