A rotary switch (1) comprises a cassette (5), and the body comprises a central hollow housing that receives the cassette of the rotary switch. The rotary switch comprises a stator connector (11) that is arranged in a peripheral opening of the central hollow housing. The stator connector forms an outer wall of the body and partially closes the peripheral opening. The stator connector comprises a reinforced part (13) that comprises a molded metal core. The reinforced part engages with a fixing unit (21) of the stator connector.
