<p>The generator (1) has a comparator (21) providing a signal to a controlled oscillator (25) as a function of a phase or frequency comparison of a comparison signal based on an input signal applied to a input (16) of a phase-locked loop (5) with another comparison signal based on a output signal. A harmonic generator (7) is adapted to generate, from a reference signal, a harmonic signal including a preset harmonic of the reference signal, where the generator is adapted to apply the harmonic signal to the input of the phase-locked loop. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating an output signal having a preset output frequency using a local oscillator.</p> |
