PURPOSE: A compound is provided to be separable from natural material, especially seaweed, to have excellent antioxidant activity and to have excellent safety for human body. CONSTITUTION: A compound is represented by chemical formula 1. The compound is Sargassum micracanthum or a compound separated from extracts thereof. A separating and purifying method of the compound in chemical formula 1 comprises a step of obtaining Sargassum micracanthum fraction by adding organic solvent into the Sargassum micracanthum, and a step obtaining the compound in chemical formula 1 by separating and purifying the compound from the Sargassum micracanthum friction. |
