Abstract There is disclosed a showcase (1) in which a width of a transparent door (2) can be extended to substantially the whole width of a main body (11) even in a case where a 5 locking device is incorporated in a handle of a transparent door (2). A low-temperature showcase (1) comprises the transparent door (2) which is rotatably supported on the main body (11) on one side so as to openably close an opening of the main body (11) including a showroom (6), the handle (3) disposed at an outer surface of this transparent door (2) on an unsupported side, and a locking device (17) disposed in this handle (3). The locking 0 device (17) has a keyhole (19), a rotary shaft (21) which rotates concentrically with a key by a rotating operation of the key inserted into this keyhole (19) and a hook (22) which is attached to this rotary shaft (21) so as to disengageably engage with the main body (11), and the keyhole (19) is disposed at a side surface of the handle (3) on a supported side of the transparent door (2). |
