<p>Provided is a hollow fiber membrane module comprising: a casing tube which is provided with a treating liquid inlet nozzle and a treating liquid outlet nozzle; a hollow fiber membrane bundle which is mounted within the casing tube while being aligned in one direction; partition walls which affix both ends of the hollow fiber membrane bundle to the inner wall of the casing tube so that the hollow sections of the hollow fiber membranes are open; and header members which surround the opening end surfaces of the hollow fiber membrane bundle, are mounted to both ends of the casing tube, and are provided with an inlet nozzle for liquid to be treated and an outlet nozzle for the liquid to be treated. The hollow fiber membrane module is characterized in that the hollow fiber membrane module comprises: an upper baffle plate provided within the casing tube at a position immediately below the treating liquid inlet nozzle of the casing tube so as to be separated by a predetermined distance from the inner opening of the treating liquid inlet nozzle; and a lower baffle plate provided at a position at which the lower baffle plate is line symmetric to the upper baffle plate with respect to the axis of the tube, and the hollow fiber membrane module is also characterized in that there is no baffle plate present on the inside of the casing tube, between the upper baffle plate and the lower baffle plate. In the hollow fiber membrane module, the flow speed of the treating liquid is made more uniform, and the hollow fiber membrane module can be adopted industrially.</p> |
