FIELD: instrument making.SUBSTANCE: method to set a setpoint value for general-purpose instruments with a digital display consists in serial selection of instrument digital display digits and changing the value of the selected digit by pressing of two buttons, in which for indication of the digital display selected for digit change the selected digit is highlighted with a cursor. Setting of the setpoint value is started with the junior digit of the instrument digital display. After pressing of the first button for not more than 400 ms, the value of the selected digit is reduced by one, after pressing of the first button for more than 400 ms, the cursor is moved every 400 ms by one digit to the left relative to the selected digit, after pressing of the second button for not more than 400 ms, the value of the selected digit is increased by one, after pressing of the second button for more than 400 ms, the cursor is moved every 400 ms by one digit to the right relative to the selected digit. If buttons are not pressed for more than 3 s, then setting of the setpoint value is stopped, and the setpoint value is recorded into the instrument memory.EFFECT: reduced time expenditures for setting of a setpoint value. |
