Linearity of a high-frequency module deteriorates when the frequency band width of a high frequency signal to be amplified is changed. In the present invention, a high-frequency module comprises an amplifying circuit further comprising an amplifying transistor and a variable impedance circuit, and an output matching circuit. Within a frequency band within which unnecessary secondary distortion component signals, which are unavoidably mixed into a high frequency signal amplified by an amplifying function, are to be generated, the output impedance of the amplifying circuit is changed such that impedance matching does not occur between the amplifying circuit and the output matching circuit. The output impedance of the amplifying circuit is changed by controlling the variable impedance circuit.
