The rotor has a cylindrical hollow rotor holder (1), a laminated core and a positioning element i.e. annular disk, where the laminated core is rotationally connected with the rotor holder. The positioning element is connected with the laminated core and fastened axially against the rotor holder. The rotor holder comprises a shoulder (3) at one end against which the positioning element is fastened axially. Internal diameter of the positioning element is smaller than outer diameter of the rotor holder.
