摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A DNA oligomer is provided to enhance knock-down effect and to regulate various glycosylation and signal transduction systems due to the same by regulating O-GlcNAc transferase expression level. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing O-GlcNAc transferase expression level in cultured cells, tissues, or organisms comprises a step of preparing a DNA oligomer with 10 or more base pairs, which complementarily binds to O-GlcNAc transferase mRNA. The DNA oligomer contains 3'-tttgagccggagttcaac-5'(DNA strand which is complementary to midstream sequence), 3'-caataactttactaattg-5'(DNA strand which is complementary to midstream sequence), and 3'-acataagttcattaataa-5'(DNA strand which is complementary to downstream sequence) of 18 base pairs. The DNA oligomer is prepared by synthesizing a PCR primer.
