PURPOSE: A roll surface testing apparatus of an annealing furnace is provided to be arranged adjacently to a roll, for rapidly sensing minute foreign substances adhered on the surface of the roll. CONSTITUTION: A roll surface testing apparatus of an annealing furnace comprises a pipe(100), a flaw detection unit(200), and a control unit(300). The pipe is installed through the annealing furnace in order to be parallel, and forms an isolated space in the inside of the annealing furnace. The flaw detection unit is installed inside the pipe, and produces a surface image of the roll. The control unit controls the obtaining speed of the image from the flaw detection unit by synchronizing the speed of the rotating speed of the roll. A view window is installed in the side corresponding the roll in the pipe, and a gas injection unit(400) which spraying purge gas to the view window is installed.
