PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and the like generating further natural image from a distorted image captured by a single camera, thereby allowing a user to check a situation such as an obstacle or the like.

SOLUTION: The image processing device: acquires a distorted image S obtained by photographing using a wide-angle lens or an omnidirectional mirror; sets a cutout reference point P for cutting out a partial cutout area E from the distorted image; sets the cutout area according to the cutout reference point; sets a sight line vector n corresponding to the cutout reference point with a view point of photographing of the distorted image as a base point; moves the cutout area by a predetermined distance from the cutout reference point; and converts the moved cutout area E' by an image conversion for converting from the distorted image to a planar regular image T' according to the sight line vector.
