Utility model patent for motor vehicle rear-view mirrors using frontal air inlet(s) and duct(s) to project a jet of air onto the mirror surface, keeping it clean and free of water, increasing visibility and safety for the driver and passengers on rainy days. Optionally, and to ensure the same objective is achieved when the vehicle is not moving, the airflow may be complemented by the existing ventilation system or by adapting any mechanical device that can generate or increase the airflow in the ducts, aimed at the external mirrors. In the case of motor vehicles, and in accordance with the design options of all models of rear-view mirrors to which the principles of this utility model are applied, the airflow may also be redirected, after it has cleaned the surface of the rear-view mirror, towards the front side window to obtain the same benefit of cleaning and removing water.
