PURPOSE: A composition for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases is provided to effectively prevent or treat neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer's disease, and to be used as a pharmaceutical product or a health supplementary food. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating neurodegerative diseases contains one or more selected from the group consisting of 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-methyl-DL-alanine, methyldopa, levodopa, N-methyldopamine hydrochloride, dopamine hydrochloride, methyldopate hydrochloride, hydrochloride, SKF 75670 hydrobromide, SKF 89626, N-allyl-SKF 38393 hydrobromide, SKF 89145 hydrobromide, and SKF 83959 hydrobromide. The pharmaceutical composition additionally contains one or more additives selected from the group consisting of a carrier, an excipient, a disintegrant, a sweetener, a coating agent, an expander, a lubricant, a flavoring agent, an antioxidant, a buffer solution, fungistats, a diluents, a dispersing agent, a surfactant, and a binder.
