PURPOSE: A vibration isolation device of a building is provided to effectively absorb vibration energy, to secure view and lighting, and to improve external appearance. CONSTITUTION: A vibration isolation device of a building comprises a steel structure(10), a pair of viscous dampers(11a,11b), and a pair of steel dampers(12a,12b). A rectangular steel structure is installed on the wall of a building and comprises a horizontal frame(10a) and a vertical frame(10b). Four edges of the steel structure are installed with reinforcement plates(17a,17b). A viscous damper and a steel damper are diagonally arranged at the four edges of the steel structure. The viscous and steel dampers are separately positioned in the upper and lower parts of the edges. The operation side rods(14a,14b) and the fixing side rods(15a,15b) of the viscous and steel dampers are rotatably fastened to the pin bracket(13) of the steel structure using a hinge pin(16). |
