<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a data transfer direction with an intuitive operation. <P>SOLUTION: By the detection of a first user instruction to switch on a communication unit in a communication device, an instruction which is given earlier between the first user instruction and a second user instruction to switch on a communication unit in another communication device is determined.
