The catheter (1) has an outer pipe element (2) and an inner pipe element (3), which are coaxially arranged with respect to each other and form an interstice, a deformable distal region (6), an intermediate region (7) and a proximate region (8). The distal region is extended from a plane (6a) to another plane (6b), made of flexible material, and formed as a catheter tip. The pipe elements are connected with each other in a discrete region of the distal extremities (2', 3'). A reinforcing layer (9) is extended over the intermediate region. A cavity is formed in the distal region.
