PURPOSE: A balancing weight device of a machine tool is provided to compensate a deflection deviation at an end of a tool generated in static deflection or a principal axis transfer process by efficiently compensating unbalancing phenomenon of a principal axis group. CONSTITUTION: A balancing weight device of a machine tool comprises a column, a cross rail(34), a principal axis group, a guide rail(21), a balancing weight(24), and a driving unit. The principal axis group comprises a saddle and a principal axis. The principal axis is installed in the saddle and is transferred to a vertical direction of the cross rail. The balancing weight is installed in the guide rail and is transferred along the guide rail. The driving unit is installed in one side of the rear surface of the cross rail so that the balancing weight moves.
