<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating a porous medium which is applicable to an inorganic gas selective membrane. <P>SOLUTION: This method provides a metal mesh. The metal mesh is formed by interlacing metal wires, so that first holes are formed among the metal wires. The area of each of the first holes is 1-10,000 μm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and an area error between the first holes is less than 5%. A metal layer covers the metal wires, so that a porous medium having second holes are formed. By controlling a thickness of the metal layer, an area of each of the second holes is reduced to 0.01-1 μm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and an area error between the second holes is less than 5%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
