<p>Disclosed is a roller screw including a screw shaft (1) and a nut cage (2) with the screw shaft (1) inserted therein, the roller screw being adapted to convert a rotary motion of either the screw shaft (1) or the cage (2) into a rectilinear or linear motion of the other; the roller screw further including: a plurality of rollers (3), each formed to roll along a flank surface (1a) of the screw shaft; and a plurality of roller bearings (4), each formed to support one of the rollers (3) so as to allow the roller (3) to rotate. At least one of the roller bearings (4) is retained in the case (2) so as to move forward and backward in an axial direction of rotation of the corresponding roller (3) supported by the roller bearing (4).</p> |
