PURPOSE: A traction motor is provided to improve a structure by forming the inside of a motor to be linked with external air so that the temperature of the motor is maximally close to an atmospheric temperature. CONSTITUTION: A traction motor assembly includes a hub housing, a motor, and a transmission. The motor is installed in the hub housing. The transmission is installed in the hub housing, and delivers dynamic power by being connected to a rotary shaft of the motor. The motor includes a cover member, a housing member(22a) and a through hole(24a). The cover member is separated from the hub housing by a constant distance. The housing member is integrated with a fixed shaft(22), and is combined with the center of the cover member. The through hole penetrates the cover member, and is connected to the inside of the motor. The housing member includes an air vent(100) which is connected to the through hole. |
