The bracket (10) has a bracket profile (12) provided with two side pieces (13, 14). A reinforcement mat (20) is connected with the bracket profile and projects over the side pieces, where the reinforcement mat is arranged in inner side of the bracket profile. A U-shaped receiving space (24) for receiving a part of the reinforcement mat is formed in a corner region of the bracket profile. The receiving space is arranged in a peripheral bulge (26), which is designed as a pulling-off edge. The receiving space is provided with a filling element (30). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a corner bracket.
