PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a vent device of a tire vulcanizing mold and the vent device are provided to prevent the pollution of the tire surface due to the surface corrosion which can be generated when continuously using or keeping by improving the corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a vent device of a tire vulcanizing mold comprises: a step of processing a valve body with the contact surface contacting with the rubber of a green tire and lifting in a bent hole and a casing in which the bent hole is formed and is mounted on the vulcanizing mold(S1); a step of forming a passivation layer on the surface of the valve body and the casing(S2); and a step of controlling the roughness of the contact surface and the circumference of the bent hole contacting with the green tire(S3).
