<p>Reactor (1) for producing synthesis gas from gaseous hydrocarbons, preferably pyrolysis gas, and coke particles (3), comprises at least one reaction chamber (2), whose upper end is inclined to vertical; and flow channels with baffles for depositing and recycling the coke particles in the reaction chamber using the gravity. An independent claim is also included for producing synthesis gas from gaseous hydrocarbons, preferably pyrolysis gas, and coke particles, using the above reactor, comprising generating a multi-phase flow including the gaseous hydrocarbons and coke particles; passing the multi-phase flow present at the upper end of the reaction chamber, into the flow channels with in-built components; and recycling the coke particles using the gravity in the flow channels and partially depositing in the reaction chamber.</p> |
