PURPOSE: A line post insulator for constructing a power distribution line and a method for constructing the power distribution line using the same are provided to obtain a high fastening force, and to prevent the disconnection of the power distribution line according to a spark between the power distribution line and a bind line fundamentally, and to reduce management costs as a service lifetime of the power distribution line increases. CONSTITUTION: A line post insulator for constructing a power distribution line includes an insulator body(110), a settlement holder(120) and a fixing holder(130). The settlement holder is combined with an axis combining member(112) extended to the upper part of the insulator body through penetration, and has an electric wire guide groove(121) on the upper surface thereof. The electric wire guide groove guides by surrounding the bottom of a power distribution line(150). The fixing holder is combined with the axis combining member in the upper part of the settlement holder, and has an electric wire guide groove(131) guiding by surrounding the upper part of the power distribution line.
