PURPOSE: A method for fermenting sewage sludge is provided to efficiently treat sewage sludge by increasing the decomposition efficiency of aerobic microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: A method for fermenting sewage sludge includes the following steps of: arranging 10-12 parts by weight of perlite and 5-6 parts by weight of loess ceramic balls per 100 parts by weight of sludge, adding fermentation strains, and mixing; stirring the mixture under an aerobic condition and fermenting sludge; transferring a fermented mixture to a mixing bath; adjusting the discharge of the fermented mixture except for the transferred fermented mixture to the mixing bath; separating the loess ceramic balls by introducing the fermented mixture to a sorter; transferring the separated loess ceramic balls to the mixing bath; and discharging the fermented sludge without the loess ceramic balls.
