<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator having a contactless operation part operable without touching with a fingertip or the like, and to provide a means to fully prevent a wrong operation in the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator 10 includes a boarding place call operation part provided at a boarding place, a car interior operation panel 20 provided in a boarding car 11, and a control device 30. The car interior operation panel 20 has a destination floor operation part 21 and a door opening/closing operation part 22 as contactless operation parts. The control device 30 has a time decision means 31 which exerts control corresponding to an operation signal when the operation signal output by the operation of the contactless operation part continues for a threshold time or longer.
