<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of having a bed rising or lowering action carried out with an extension top plate attached. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes a subject loading and moving section for being loaded with the subject as well as moving a subject in a vertical direction or a horizontal direction, and a gantry for moving the subject to a more desired position by use of the subject loading and moving section and obtaining a desired cross sectional image of the subject. The apparatus also includes an inclination varying section for varying the inclination of the gantry so that at least one portion of the subject loading and moving section does not collide with the gantry when at least one portion of the subject loading and moving section is moved in the vertical direction or rotated in the horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
