<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an approach of another vehicle more easily. <P>SOLUTION: A detector includes: a travel area prediction device for predicting a travel area of an own vehicle after a prescribed time; a road surface drawing device for irradiating an area corresponding to the predicted travel area with visible light, which irradiates the area with the visible light of different colors according to a direction of the irradiation; and an overlapping area detector for detecting the approach of another vehicle on the basis of the color of an overlapping area where the visible light radiated by the own vehicle and the visible light radiated by the other vehicle are overlapped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
