摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress and preclude an excessive correction in correcting the injecting amount resulting from hysteresis in the injecting characteristics of an injector. <P>SOLUTION: In a state that the injector remains out of injection, minute injecting is conducted with the current feeding time to the injector increased, until the signal value corresponding to the presumed injecting amount determined on the basis of the varying amount of the engine speed generated through a plurality of minute injections exceeds the combustion judging threshold set in a region lying beyond the target signal value corresponding to the target injecting amount decided according to the rail pressure; and after the signal value has exceeded the combustion judging threshold, minute injecting is conducted with the current feeding time to the injector decreased until the signal value goes under the target signal value.
