<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a compressed wood product and a molding apparatus, configured to easily form an opening and the like without deforming the compressed wood. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a compressed wood product, compressed wood products 6, 7 of a three-dimensional shape having the opening 71 are manufactured by compressing the wood. The method includes: a forming process (Step S1) of forming a roughly bowl-like blank material 2 from a material wood 1 and forming an opening 2d; and a compressing process (Step S3) of compressing the blank material 2 of a predetermined shape having the opening 2d, while holding the blank material 2 with a pair of molds 11, 12, at least one of which is provided with an opening protrusion 122 to be fitted to the opening 2d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
