VIDEO DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROVISION DEVICE, AND VIDEO INFORMATION PROVISION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookmark list including a content desired by a user depending on a characteristic of a terminal.

SOLUTION: A video distribution system for distributing video to a plurality of types of reception terminals comprises: a video distribution part for distributing video data; a control part for generating screen data for displaying a list of the video to be distributed on the reception terminal; and a bookmark management part for retaining information set in the video. The bookmark management part manages: a first type bookmark whose state is not changed by viewing the video; and a second type bookmark whose state can be changed after viewing the video. The control part generates screen data for making the first and second type bookmarks be selectable; transmits the generated screen data to the reception terminal; sets the first or second type bookmark selected by a user to the video, and stores it in the bookmark management part.
