<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability in a navigation apparatus and a navigation system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A waiting key 18 to be a waiting position setting input part is connected to a control part 10. When the waiting key 18 is operated and then a specific position on a map displayed on a display part 9 is operated, waiting position display 19 can be displayed on the specific position in the map. Namely, destination information set at first in all of a plurality of vehicles is not changed and a request (e.g. a waiting or transit point) of one vehicle out of the plurality of vehicles is simply transmitted to respective vehicles as waiting position display, so that other vehicles can agree with the waiting information or can advance to the destination set at first while rejecting the waiting information.
