摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision determination apparatus that is able to stably obtain high collision determination accuracy regardless of differences in structure or materials of a collision partner. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle collision determination apparatus includes: a vibration detecting means (an acoustic sensor 11 and an acceleration sensor 12) that detects high-frequency vibration in the acoustic band generated in a vehicle 100, having an extension frame 111 provided with a plurality of absorption regions A1, A2 absorbing impact in collision, and low-frequency vibration in a band lower than the acoustic band; and a collision determination means that calculates the envelope of the high-frequency vibration and the integral value of the low-frequency vibration on the basis of the detection results of the high-frequency vibration and the low-frequency vibration obtained by crushing of either one of the plurality of absorption regions A1, A2 provided in the extension frame 111, and determines whether or not a collision requiring starting of an airbag 2 occurs on the basis of the calculation results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
