<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain cross leak between electrodes in a cell structure of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A cell structure 1 of a fuel cell has an electrolyte membrane 10, and catalyst layers 11, 12 arranged on both faces of the electrolyte membrane 10. One catalyst layer 12 is formed so that an outer edge thereof projects on a more outer side than an outer edge of the electrolyte membrane 10. A dimension difference between the electrolyte membrane 10 and the catalyst layer 12 is set so that the outer edge of the electrolyte membrane 10 does not project on a more outer side than the outer edge of the catalyst layer 12 when the electrolyte membrane 10 is expanded to the maximum. The other catalyst layer 11 is formed so that the outer edge is positioned on a more inner side than the outer edge of the electrolyte membrane 10. A seal layer 19 is formed on outer peripheral faces of the electrolyte membrane 10 and the catalyst layer 12 to surround them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
