<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the odor of organopolysiloxane produced by the condensation reaction between a silicon atom-bonded hydroxy group-containing silicon-containing compound and a silicon atom-bonded aminoxy group-containing silicon-containing compound, and to provide a composition having a reduced odor though including organopolysiloxane produced by the above condensation reaction. <P>SOLUTION: A silicon atom-bonded hydroxy group-containing silicon-containing compound and a silicon atom-bonded aminoxy group-containing silicon-containing compound are brought into condensation reaction in the presence of an inorganic acid or carboxylic acid. Concretely, the inorganic acid or carboxylic acid is added to the reaction system before the condensation reaction or upon the condensation reaction between the silicon atom-bonded hydroxy group-containing silicon-containing compound and the silicon atom-bonded aminoxy group-containing silicon-containing compound, or the inorganic acid or carboxylic acid is added to the reaction system after the condensation reaction between the silicon atom-bonded hydroxy group-containing silicon-containing compound and the silicon atom-bonded aminoxy group-containing silicon-containing compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
