<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a nonwoven fabric that is bulky while having a low basis weight, has a good flexibility, and is difficult to be crushed by pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a nonwoven fabric includes heat-treating a web containing a core-sheath type heat-extensible conjugate fiber with heated air to elongate the fiber and to melt-bond the cross points of the fiber mutually. As the fiber, a fiber having a start temperature of heat elongation that is lower than the melting point of a resin constituting the sheath and a maximum heat elongation developing temperature that is higher than the melting point of the resin constituting the sheath and lower than the melting point of a resin constituting the core is used. The web is heat treated by the heated air that is heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of the resin constituting the sheath and lower than the melting point of the resin constituting the core at a very low speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
