<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual machine allocation system for promptly allocating virtual machines to appropriate servers and a method for using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual machine allocation system includes: a receiver module which receives requests of installation of virtual machines, transmitted from a user terminal, and hardware resources which user-set virtual machines require; a statistic module which collects the statistics of resources left in respective servers of a data center; a comparison module which compares the resources left in the respective servers with the hardware resources which the virtual machines require to acquire servers which satisfy requests of the virtual machines; a setting module which sets virtual machine allocation strategy; and an allocation module which establishes one server from among the servers which satisfy the request of the virtual machines by the set virtual machine allocation strategy, and allocates the virtual machine to the established server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
