<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic measurement data calibration apparatus which obtains magnetic measurement data for calculating an offset closer to a true value as magnetic measurement data for calculating the offset and determining validity. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic measurement data calibration apparatus configured to calculate an offset of magnetic measurement data and to correct the magnetic measurement data comprises: an inclination angle calculation section that calculates an inclination angle from acceleration data from an acceleration sensor; a magnetic measurement data buffer including regions in which magnetic measurement data is stored for each combination with an angle range of the inclination angle; a magnetic measurement data determination section that writes magnetic measurement data from a magnetic sensor into a region corresponding to the inclination angle; an offset calculation section that calculates the offset from the magnetic measurement data; and an offset validity determination section that determines whether the calculated offset or a preset offset being used at present is probable, from magnetic data stored in the magnetic measurement data buffer and defines the offset determined probable, as a new preset offset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
