PURPOSE: A method for detecting the movement of a vehicle is provided to perform precise and rapid computation by using the image information of an installed camera. CONSTITUTION: An image information analysis device sets a basic image, by making initial image information of the image information photographed by a camera into blocks which have a constant size of a pixel(S11). The device transforms the basic image of a domain extracted from the basic image into layout information with predetermined feature points, and receives a comparison image(S12-S14). The device transforms the comparison image into layout information with the predetermined feature points, and detects the amount of the movement of a vehicle through comparison of the layout information(S15-S17).
