<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management system and a server device which enable proper setting of terminals and users to which and to whom data stored in the server device is viewable. <P>SOLUTION: A security system 1 comprises a first terminal device 3-1, a second terminal device 3-2, and a server device 5. The server device stores data inputted by a registered user of the first terminal device via the first terminal device in a common region set to be viewable to all registered users of the first terminal device via the first terminal device or in a personal region which is viewable only to the user via the first terminal device. If a disclosure setting is made between the first terminal device and the second terminal device, the data in the common region is set to be viewable to all registered users of the second terminal device via the second terminal device, and data other than the data in the common region is set to be non-viewable to all registered users of the second terminal device via the second terminal device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
