PURPOSE: An electronic device and a driving method thereof are provided to change an environment setting item value of a display of the electronic device through touch for an input/output module which operates as a visual information providing unit, thereby changing a feature of visual information corresponding to a specific environment setting item. CONSTITUTION: An input and output module(200) operates as a visual information providing unit and an information input unit with touch which are separated from a display(110). A control unit(120) changes a value of a specific environment setting item of the display based on the touch. The control unit changes a feature of visual information corresponding to the specific environment setting item by reflecting the value of the changed specific environment setting item. The control unit changes a specific environment setting value of the display based on the position and movement of the touch for the input and output module. The control unit controls the input and output module in order to change the feature of the visual information corresponding to the specific environment setting item.
