PURPOSE: A pellet manufacturing method for loess containing compost is provided to prevent pellets from crumbling and to allow the pellets to be easily absorbed in soil by forming the pellets based on rice straw or barley straw, and loess. CONSTITUTION: A pellet manufacturing method for loess containing compost includes the following steps of: pulverizing rice straw; mixing the pulverized rice straw and loess; shaping the mixture into pellets; and drying the shaped pellets. The content of the loess in the mixing step is 5-20 volume%. Barley straw is possible used instead of the rice straw.
