PURPOSE: A rack bar support device of a steering system for a vehicle is provided to prevent the increase of an interval due to the abrasion of a support yoke. CONSTITUTION: A rack bar support device of a steering system for a vehicle comprises a support yoke(260), a yoke plug(310), a first impact absorption member(320), a second impact absorption member(330). The support yoke is inserted into a cylinder(250) of a gear-box(130) and supports a rear surface of a rack bar(140) in a front side. The support yoke has a mounting groove(315) with a recess on the facing side of the support yoke. The first impact absorption member in the mounting groove of the yoke plug is elastically transformed and absorbs impact. The second impact absorption member supports the support yoke with pressing the first impact absorption member. |
