FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing graft copolymers based on sodium polyaspartate. Described is a method of producing graft copolymers of polyaspartate, involving: providing a certain amount of sodium polyaspartate; adding water to the sodium polyaspartate; mixing the sodium polyaspartate with water to facilitate dissolution of the sodium polyaspartate and formation of a solution; bringing pH of the solution to a value ranging from about 3.0 to about 7.0; adding to said solution ammonium-iron (II) sulphate in an amount ranging from about 0.1 to about 30% of the mass of the solution; bubbling nitrogen through the solution while stirring; adding hydrogen peroxide to the solution in an amount ranging from about 0.1 to about 50% of the mass of the solution; adding to the solution at least one monomer selected from a group consisting of acrylic acid, hydroxymethyl acrylate, hydroxyethyl acrylate, acrylamide methylpropane sulphonic acid, vinyl pyrrolidone, acrylamide diacetone, vinyl sulphonic acid, dimethyl acrylamide, diethyl acrylamide, N-isopropyl acrylamide, isobutyl acrylamide, n-butyl acrylamide, vinyl imidazole, vinyl caprolactam, dimethyl aminomethyl acrylate, dimethyl aminoethyl acrylate and diethyl aminomethyl acrylate before or after adding hydrogen peroxide; further carrying out of the process under a layer of nitrogen while stirring at room temperature; and, optionally, cleaning the obtained polymer and separating the polymer by sublimation drying.EFFECT: obtaining graft copolymers with high output.7 cl, 8 ex |
