PURPOSE: A device for providing product information by using an SNS and a position-based service and a method thereof are provided to supply the product information written by another user and to supply the product information in real time. CONSTITUTION: An SNS receiving unit(31) receives question data and user position information through an SNS. A product information requesting unit(32) generates product information request data by analyzing the user position information and the query data. A database interface unit(34) extracts the product information from a database according to product information request data. A product information processing unit(35) converts the extracted product information into an SNS transmission data type.
