PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can improve user friendliness when printing an image on a recording medium set by manual feeding if printing is performed according to a user's instruction based on printing data which has been previously stored.

SOLUTION: An MFP performs an MP tray fixing process for forcibly supplying the recording medium from an MP tray to a printer (S349) when a manual feed medium sensor has detected that the recording medium is set in the MP tray if the instruction of printing based on the printing data stored in a BOX is accepted (YES in S348), and keeps on printing even though an attribution of the recording medium included in the printing data does not adapt to an attribution of the recording medium set by an attribution setting means when performing the MP tray fixing process.
