<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with an atomizer configured so that no bacteria interfuses into water for humidifying housing space. <P>SOLUTION: In the refrigerator which includes a humidifier for humidifying the inside of housing space to house an object, the humidifier 10 includes: a permeable vibration body 11; a water supplying unit 12 disposed outside the housing space 1 and for supplying water to the vibration body 11; and an ultrasonic vibration generating unit 18 for discharging, into the housing space 1, permeated water atomized by ultrasonic vibration of the vibration body 11. The vibration body 11 is attached so that an opening 8 formed at a wall defining the housing space 1 is clogged with the vibration body 11. In addition, the water supplying unit 12 has a water outlet 12a contacting the vibration body 11.
